Amends a contract with University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) by adding $419,719 for a new total of $1,021,449 and three years for a new end date of 12-31-24 for weather consulting services at Denver International Airport (202157610). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 7-19-21. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 6-16-21.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
The purpose of this 2nd Amendment is to continue using the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research’s (UCAR) Maintenance Decision Support System (MDSS) product at Denver International Airport (DEN). The MDSS product helps DEN make sound tactical decisions during snow events. Extending the contract will enable DEN to continue mitigating the challenges the airport encounters during future snow seasons.
