A resolution approving a proposed First Amendment between the City and County of Denver and Premisys Support Group, Inc. concerning On Call Professional Inside/Outside Plant Telecommunications Infrastructure Engineering, Construction, Locating, Maintenance, and Restoration services at Denver International Airport.
Amends a contract with Premisys Support Group, Inc. to add $4 million for a new total in the amount of $8 million and to add two years for a new end date of 4-10-21 for on-call telecommunication infrastructure engineering, construction, and installation services to support an increase in anticipated work that includes relocating existing cable infrastructure and other attached and stand-alone structural components that require telecommunications services at Denver International Airport (201525112-01). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 1-8-18. The Committee approved filing this resolution by consent on 12-6-17.

Type and Scope of services to be performed: Requesting an amendment for the continuity of on-call construction services that provides inside and outside plant telecommunication infrastructure engineering, construction and installation services. This proposed amendment adds additional term and dollars to the fee and maximum contract liability articles due to the large volume of work anticipated to be applied to these contracts in the coming years. The work performed is task-order based. Each task-order is bid among the three on-call contractors to ensure the best pricing for DEN. The on-call construction work will consist of locating and/or relocating existing cable infrastructure and installation of new services to support new construction of buildings, standalone communications “huts,” internal distribution frame (IDF) rooms, and other structural components that require telecommunications services.
