Executive Summary with Rationale and Impact:
Detailed description of the item and why we are doing it. This can be a separate attachment.
The metroDPA program was created in 2013 as the Metro Mortgage Assistance Plus Program and then rebranded in 2019 as the metroDPA Program by separate ordinances. The ordinances established Department of Finance and Office of Economic Development (OED) as program administrators. The Department of Housing Stability (HOST) was subsequently created in 2019 and is replacing OED as an administrator. This bill request seeks to amend the ordinance by updating company names and replacing OED with HOST.
This ordinance request is submitted along with two other bill requests to move the Metro DPA program to HOST.
