A resolution approving a proposed Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Colorado Dental Service, Inc., d/b/a Delta Dental of Colorado, to provide dental insurance for the City and County of Denver employees.
Adds $18,990,000 and one year to a contract with Colorado Dental Service, Inc. for a new total amount of $34,734,654.54 through 12-31-18 for dental insurance for City employees and classified members of the police and fire departments (CSAHR-201631802-01). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 2-12-18. The Committee approved filing this resolution by consent on 1-9-18.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
Amend the agreement with Colorado Dental Service Inc., d/b/a Delta Dental of Colorado Insurance Company to continue to provide dental insurance in 2018 to employees eligible pursuant to section 18-171 of the DRMC, and classified members of the police and fire departments. Amendment extends the contract by one year and adds $18,990,000 to the contract for a total amount of $34,734,654.54.
