Type and Scope of services to be performed:

The City and County of Denver provides 9-1-1 services to a diverse and growing population that requires a range of coordinated mission critical communications features with relevant functionality and scalability in keeping with a changing population and technologies. As new mobile devices and functionalities emerge, it is crucial that infrastructure services are able to evolve with them that keep pace with features the public expects for access to services or critical emergency reporting. Municipalities such as the City and County of Denver must keep pace with growth and the related 9-1-1 communications volume and customer service needs to be considered effective. Mobile device functionality is providing increasingly beneficial yet complex opportunities to provide more accurate and responsive emergency services. With advances in mobile capabilities and data handling, the emergency infrastructure must evolve to utilize and anticipate further technological advances.                   

 

The City and County of Denver is cognizant of infrastructure changes happening nationally in response to advances in technology and growing population service needs. The City and County of Denver, Department of Public Safety and Division of Emergency Services, has solicited proposals relating to the purchase of NextGen 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone Platform and professional services required to upgrade the City’s current 911 Emergency Telephony Platform and is seeking to contract with awarded vendor, Venture Technologies.

 

Venture Technologies shall perform the duties as detailed in their proposal response. These duties include performing the new Denver 911 Emergency Telephony solution installation, testing, cutover, and maintenance. Venture Technologies will implement an extensive implementation plan to support project objectives. Venture Technologies will stage, install, test, and cut over the above solution in accordance with best practices guidelines.
