Type and Scope of services to be performed:

                     This request is for a non-competitive professional preference contract with Horizon Glass & Glazing Company (Horizon) to provide glazing replacement services at Denver International Airport (DEN). Horizon is uniquely suited and qualified for this contract and are the current vendor assigned for glazing replacement for the Hotel and Transit Center (HTC)/Westin canopies, which require specialized product specifications, agency engagement, and permitting with multiple agencies and partners, including DEN, RTD, RWP, Westin, DTP, et al. Horizon has knowledge of the complexity of products used, access and shutdown requirements, scheduling, permitting, and multi-governmental processes required to install, repair, and/or replace canopy glass over active rail lines, storefronts, glass panels, and curtain walls at DEN. Horizon has become adept with this long-learned and critical process to provide this unique service quickly and completely.

 

Labor, Materials, Permits, and Specialized Access Equipment required to perform Glazing or Reglazing (glass replacement) on Westin Hotel canopies, DEN Storefronts, Glass Panels, and Curtain Walls at multiple assigned locations throughout Denver International Airport.
