COLORADO COALITION FOR THE HOMELESS - SUBLEASE

 

August 29, 2022

Approval is requested to enter into an Amendment to Sublease Agreement with Colorado Coalition for the Homeless to provide day-time integrated health services for residents of the emergency shelter at 4600 E 48th Avenue.

This amendment extends the sublease term through 9/30/2023. 

Pursuant to the service agreement, Colorado Coalition for the Homeless provides day-time integrated health services for residents of the shelter operated by The Denver Rescue Mission.  The Lease will be in effect until the earlier of 9/30/2023 or the termination of the Service Contract.  Colorado Coalition for the Homeless subleases approximately 4,000 square feet within the building. 

The City leases 4600 E 48th Ave from a third-party landlord.  To allow Colorado Coalition for the Homeless to occupy the building to provide its services, the master landlord requires a sublease to be in place.
