A resolution approving a proposed Third Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Tsiouvaras, Simmons, Holderness, Inc. for professional engineering design and related services.
Revives and amends a contract with Tsiouvaras, Simmons, Holderness, Inc. by adding $507,858 for a new total of $2,922,744 and six years for a new end date of 05-01-22 for professional design and construction management services associated with the Federal Boulevard Reconstruction project including professional engineering, construction materials testing, and other related services to improve safety and relieve traffic congestion on Federal Boulevard from West 5th Avenue to West Howard Place in Council District 3 (CE02011-03). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 2-12-18. The Committee approved filing this resolution by consent on 1-9-18.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
Amendment No. 3 - Federal Boulevard reconstruction 5th to Howard; TSH- Contract CE02011-03 for professional services and construction materials testing needed during construction. The original contract Term was Dec. 14, 2010 - Oct. 31, 2016. In addition to the contract revival, Public Works would like to amend the contract to reflect additional services, revised billing rates, and revised contract terms.
The Term of this request runs through May 1, 2022. The total Fee Request is $507,858.00, includes $50,000 for Additional Services. TSH added scope which conclusively covers all the QA documentation requirements found in the CDOT Field Materials manual, as well as all the minimum testing requirements found in the Denver Department of Public Works Minimum Frequency of Materials Sampling and Testing Standards.
