A resolution approving a proposed First Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Valerian, LLC to extend the term for on-call irrigation planning, design, and consulting services.
Amends a contract with Valerian, LLC by adding 14 months for a new end date of 4-5-23 for on-call irrigation planning, design, and consulting services for parks and park facilities, citywide. No change to contract amount (201947083; 202160664). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 2-28-22. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 1-18-22.

The contract with Valerian, LLC is for On-Call Irrigation Planning, Design, & Related Consulting Services including, but not limited to, assessment, planning, design, and construction observation services related to parks and parks facilities. The amendment will extend the term an additional fourteen (14) months. Due to unforeseen delays associated with COVID-19 and extended timelines on projects, utilization of these on-call contracts has been limited. An extension will allow DPR to utilize these on-call consultants for upcoming projects, and also allow DPR adequate time to consider how to best rebid these services.
