A bill for an ordinance approving a proposed Amendment to Intergovernmental Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Urban Drainage and Flood Control District D/B/A Mile High Flood District for final design and construction of drainage and flood control improvements regarding Irondale Gulch tributaries.
Amends an intergovernmental agreement with Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD), doing business as Mile High Flood Control District, by adding $1,150,000 of UDFCD funds and $1,150,000 of City funds for a new total of $2,400,000 for final construction design for flood control improvements for the Irondale Gulch tributaries in Council District 11. No change to agreement duration (201950441; 202054996). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 8-3-20. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 6-30-20.

This first amendment will add an additional $1,150,000 in Urban Drainage and Flood Control District D/B/A Mile High Flood Control District (MHFD) funds, and $1,150,000 in Wastewater Enterprise funds for the Irondale Gulch Tributaries project to design and construct drainage and flood control improvements. The improvements will be identified during design. This project is being managed through design and construction by the MHFD. These funds are in addition to $50,000 in MHFD and $50,000 in CCD funds previously committed through the original agreement.
