Amends a contract with Hord Coplan Macht, Inc., formerly known as Slaterpaull Architects, by adding two years for a new end date of 12-31-18 and to reflect a company name change, for the Bible House Renovation and Repair project including preservation activities, installation of finishes, restoration of structural masonry and chimneys, window replacement, and code-required and accessibility updates located within City Park near the intersection of York Street and 21st Avenue in Council District 9 (201205622).

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
The scope of the Bible House Renovation and Repair Project (located in City Park near intersection of York and E 21st Ave) includes the design and construction of preservation activities to restore and repair elements of the facility, including installation of finishes, restoration of structural masonry and chimneys, window replacement, as well as code-required and accessibility updates to enable Denver Parks and Recreation staff to appropriately occupy this facility. A State Historic Fund Grant was also awarded to this project for restoration and preservation efforts of the design process. Additional activities on this project included, asbestos abatement efforts concluding in February of 2017 and approval by the Landmark Commission on 4-4-17. The renovation/repair design was completed by SlaterPaull Architects (recently acquired by Hord Coplan Macht) in the summer of 2017. A construction work order for the amount of $411k was issued to Interlock Construction on 8-11-17 and construction is expected to be complete by end of this year. Payment by the State Historic Fund grant must be complete by late January 2018 and the project is on-track to meet the budget and schedule set forth by the City and Grant requirements.
