Approves a sublease agreement with the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless for $10 and through 8-31-22 to provide day-time integrated health services for residents of the emergency shelter at 4600 East 48th Avenue in Council District 8 (FINAN-202161644-00). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 2-28-22. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 1-18-22.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
Approval is requested to enter into a Sublease Agreement with Colorado Coalition for the Homeless to provide day-time integrated health services for residents of the emergency shelter at 4600 E 48th Avenue.
This sublease term is for approximately 7 months at a rental rate of $10.00. Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is party to Contract No. HOST-202157443-01 (“Service Contract”), pursuant to which Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to provide day-time integrated health services for residents of the shelter operated by The Denver Rescue Mission. The Lease will be in effect until the earlier of 8/31/2022 or the termination of the Service Contract. Colorado Coalition for the Homeless will sublease approximately 4,000 square feet within the building.
The City leases 4600 E 48th Ave from a third-party landlord. To allow Colorado Coalition for the Homeless to occupy the building to provide its services, the master landlord requires a sublease to be in place.
