Type and Scope of services to be performed:
The Temporary Rental and Utility Assistance (TRUA) Program provides emergency rental and utility assistance to households at or below 80% of the Area Median Income who have experienced a financial hardship within the City and County of Denver. Eligible households may receive up to 6 months of rental assistance per household per calendar year as well as one-time utility assistance per utility type (Xcel Energy and/or Denver Water) per calendar year. Households who have recently been displaced may also receive assistance relocating including application fee, security deposit, and rental assistance at a new housing unit located within the City and County of Denver. This contract will allow for 1,100 unduplicated households to be served with rent and/or utility assistance in 2024.
