Type and Scope of services to be performed:
Approves contract execution of an IGA with City of Aurora for Colfax BRT during the construction phase of the project, Contract #202370886. This IGA addresses the Parties relationship during the construction phase of the Colfax BRT project. The Colfax BRT project will design and construct a center running alignment in dedicated fixed guideway lanes on E. Colfax Ave. between Civic Center (Colfax/Broadway) station and I-225. This segment, which currently has the highest number of weekday boardings in the entire RTD system, is 5.5 miles in length and includes 16 stations with an average spacing of 0.34-mile. Additional station improvements will be made in dedicated bus lanes in downtown Denver and east of Denver in Aurora. This agreement is to receive $11.67M in funds from the City of Aurora. These funds will be used to construct the portion of the project located in the City of Aurora.
