Approves a contract with Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition for $674,400 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds and through 12-31-2022 to support early childhood educators and providers serving immigrant and refugee communities, communities of color, and children with special needs, citywide (MOEAI-202262292). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 6-13-22. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 5-11-22.

Type and Scope of services to be performed: CSPC will provide 6 PASO (their program name is PASO) institutes serving up to 20 informal childcare providers in the calendar year of 2022 to support informal childcare providers to apply for the Child Development Certificate. PASO will support Family Friend Neighbor (FFN) providers to be high quality early childhood educators and providers for immigrant and refugee communities and communities of color. CSPC will also develop a PASO course for providers working with Children with Special Needs.
