Amends a contract with Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition by adding $146,000 for a new total of $833,400 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds and four months for a new end date of 4-30-2023 to continue supporting early childhood educators and providers serving immigrant and refugee communities, communities of color, and children with special needs, citywide (MOEAI-202262292/ MOEAI-202264064). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 10-24-2022. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 9-21-2022.

Type and Scope of services to be performed: CSPC will provide add 2 additional PASO (their program name is PASO) institutes, for a total of 8, serving up to 20 informal childcare providers in the calendar year of 2022 to support informal childcare providers to apply for the Child Development Certificate. PASO will support Family Friend Neighbor (FFN) providers to be high quality early childhood educators and providers for immigrant and refugee communities and communities of color. CSPC will also develop a PASO course for providers working with Children with Special Needs.
