A resolution approving a proposed Second Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Easter Seals Colorado to continue providing disability navigation services to eligible clients.
Amends a contract with Easter Seals Colorado by adding
$225,695 or a new total of $517,433 and one year for a new end date of 6-30-2024 to continue providing disability navigation services to eligible clients, citywide (SOCSV-202367649 / 20161616-02). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 8-28-2023. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 8-2-2023.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
Under this agreement Easter Seals Colorado (ESC) will assist AND clients in navigating the application and appeals process for federal disability benefits under the SSI and SSDI program. ESC will facilitate a webinar series designed to simplify Social Security’s complex application process, so that AND clients can successfully apply for benefits at the initial level without the need for representation. Webinar sessions will include the following:
