Detailed description of the item and why we are doing it. This can be a separate attachment.

This arrangement involves an agreement by Denver Public Schools to issue Certificates of Participation (COPs) to assist in the City’s financing of the North Fire Station, which is estimated to cost approximately $9.4 million, and will be located in the vicinity of 50th Avenue and Central Park Boulevard. DPS will place $9.4 million of COP proceeds in an account with a trustee to be used to reimburse the City for advances for the actual development costs of the North Fire Station.
