Executive Summary with Rationale and Impact:

Detailed description of the item and why we are doing it. This can be a separate attachment.

This ordinance request seeks to transfer $399,735.77 from the Gateway Impact Fee Trust Fund to the Capital Improvement Fund for appropriation to the Irondale Drainage capital project. The transfer and appropriation provides funds for the contract “Gateway Improvements Funding Agreement (Denver Connection West Detention Improvements)” between the City and William Lyon Homes, Inc.  The agreement contemplates payment for certain drainage improvements related to the Chambers I pond in the Irondale Gulch drainage area.  William Lyon Homes, Inc. will build a regional detention facility and outflow structure.  The Chamber I pond in the Irondale Gulch drainage area is a regional infrastructure project within the Gateway Impact Fee Assessment Area.
