A resolution approving a proposed Fifth Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. to increase the compensation and update applicable appendices for use of the ESRI ArcGIS software for the City's Geographical Information Systems.
Amends a contract with Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) by adding $200,000 for a new total of $4,969,305 to allow for additional usage and functionality of the ESRI ArcGIS software used within the City’s Geographical Information Systems (GIS). No change to contract duration (TECHS-202158465). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 6-28-21. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 5-25-21.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
The City and County of Denver extensively uses ESRI’s industry-standard ArcGIS products as the core for all map-based information services, including 911, 311, Denvergov.org, planning and development, property taxation, fire station response time analysis, crime analysis, asset management, and addressing. This Enterprise License Agreement lowers the cost-per-unit for GIS software and substantially reduces administrative and procurement expenses.
The software covered under this agreement also enables critical mapping integrations with the following enterprise applications:
• Salesforce
• Pocketgov
• Accela
• Workday
• GenTax
• Tyler Tax Collection System (CORE)
• Real Property Application
• Denver Maps (external facing mapping application)
• Map It Denver (internal facing mapping application)
• Crime Records Management System

• Fire Department Drone Program
This amendment will allow the City to add DEN into the City’s Enterprise License agreement and adds functionality including, but not limited to:
• ArcGIS Hub Community Engagement Software
• ArcGIS Urban
• Drone2Map for ArcGIS Online
• ArcGIS Full Motion Video
• ArcGIS Aviation for Airports for ArcGIS Desktop for US Airports: Bundle Maintenance
• ArcGIS Aviation for ArcGIS Desktop: Concurrent Use
