Type and Scope of services to be performed:

This is a Local Agency Project with CDOT Safer Main Streets matching State Funds and Elevate Denver Bond Funds contributing to Construction. These construction funds must be spent by May 2024, therefore the project is on a tight schedule for designing, bidding, and construction. A time extension for expending State Funds to May 2026 is under review approval by CDOT and DOTI is awaiting a decision of approval. This scope of work will focus on Mueller Engineering performing tasks related to construction support services including pre-bid support, review of submittals and shop drawings, construction change order modifications, and construction project management coordination with the construction contractor. These services were not originally included in the project since the previous scope of work was focused on civil design related work tasks required to be completed and approved before construction can occur. The added services are required because CDOT and CCD construction procurement processes require these tasks to be completed before, during, and after construction activities are performed
