A bill for an ordinance relating to Chapter 53 (Taxation and Miscellaneous Revenue) of the Revised Municipal Code, to standardize the refund, assessment, petition, and appeal procedures for the taxes imposed in Articles I through VIII.
(GOVERNMENT & FINANCE) Approves a municipal code change required by state statute to standardize procedures for the refund, assessment, petition and /or appeal of sales, use, lodger’s, occupational privilege, facilities development, admisssions and/or telecommunications business taxes. The Committee approved filing this bill by consent on 12-19-11.
