Approves contract with Savio House for $959,000.00, to provide strength based resources and support to families when children are at imminent risk of out-of-home placement and/or are in need of services to maintain a least restrictive setting. Denver Human Services (DHS) is contracting with Savio House, which will provide culturally competent services through the Core Services Program with funding from DDHS’ Core Service allocation (made up of Federal, State and City and County of Denver dollars). The Core Services program was established within the Colorado Department of Human Services in 1994 and is statutorily mandated to provide strength based resources and support to families when children are at imminent risk of out of home placement and/or are in need of services to maintain a least restrictive setting.
