Amend the scope of services for the Taxi III development to reduce the project from 95,000 square feet to 38,000 utilizing remaining available Section 108 and Brownfield Economic Development Initiative (BEDI) funds, to allow the Office of Economic Development to fund a higher percentage of the project (from 41% to 79%), and to modify TAXI’s existing payment schedule. (BUSINESS, WORKFORCE & SUSTAINABILITY) Amend the scope of services for the Taxi III development to reduce the project from 95,000 square feet to 38,000 utilizing remaining available Section 108 and Brownfield Economic Development Initiative (BEDI) funds, to allow the Office of Economic Development to fund a higher percentage of the project (from 41% to 79%), and to modify TAXI’s existing payment schedule. The Committee approved filing this bill at its meeting on 1-11-12.
