This ordinance is an administrative action to dissolve the Tennyson Street Pedestrian Mall Local Maintenance District ("1988 LMD"). All maintenance responsibilities of the 1988 LMD were assumed by the Tennyson Street II Pedestrian Local Maintenance District ("1998 LMD"). The creation of the 1998 LMD has rendered the 1988 LMD redundant and to avoid duplication of services, the City desires to dissolve the 1988 LMD and transfer the remaining funds of the 1988 LMD to the General Fund.
