A bill for an ordinance amending the Revised Municipal Code of the City and County of Denver to reflect the Charter amendment changing the name of the Department of Environmental Health to the Department of Public Health and Environment.
Amends multiple chapters of the Denver Revised Municipal Code (DRMC) to change the name of the Department of Environmental Health to the Department of Public Health and Environment. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 5-9-18.

In the November 2017 election, the voters approved a Charter amendment to change the name of the “Department of Environmental Health” to “Public Health and Environment.” Consistent with the Charter amendment, this municipal code amendment changes all references of “Environmental Health” to “Public Health and Environment.”
