Amends Article V of Chapter 56 of the Revised Municipal Code pertaining to floodplain management. (LAND USE, TRANSPORTATION & INFRASTRUCTURE) Amends our floodplain ordinance to meet both the national Flood Insruance Program's and the State's minimum requirements for Regulatory Floodplains in Colorado, to reflect current practice, and to provide an additional level of safety to structures built in the regulatory floodplains. The Committee approved filing this bill at its meeting on 10-15-13.
