Authorizes the Denver Department of Human Services to accept a grant of $299,691 from the U.S. Department of Labor for the Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program. This Ordinance will authorize the acceptance of the 2011-2012 funding for the Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program. This will provide wrap-around services for homeless veterans, including employment assistance, placement in permanent or transitional housing, training activities, and supportive services. The award amount is $299,691 and runs July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. Homeless Veteran’s Reintegration Program (HVRP) is annual funding exceeding the total amount of $500,000 for two years.
