A bill for an ordinance making a rescission from and an appropriation in the Capital Improvements and Capital Maintenance Fund.
Authorizes a budget rescission in the amount of $400,000 from the Capital Improvement Fund to make a cash transfer to the General Fund and approves an appropriation in the General Fund in the Department of Finance, Capital Planning, and Real Estate Division to be utilized for "swing space" lease during the Webb Building refresh. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 9-12-2023.

This request is related to the approved Webb Building Capacity Project (Resolution Request Nos. 23-0652-55 and Bill Request No. 23-0566), which will utilize a phased approach and begin in October, 2023 and continue through mid-2025. As the different floors in the Webb building are scheduled to be re-modeled, the employees on those floors will be relocated to another location leased by the City, AKA "Swing Space," until after the work is complete.
