Approves a contract with Urban Land Conservancy to administer $750,000 in HUD Community Challenge Planning Grant – Housing Development Assistance Funds. (BUSINESS, WORKFORCE & SUSTAINABILITY) To establish a Housing Development Assistance Fund that provides a HUD Community Challenge Planning Grant to Urban Land Conservancy ($750,000). The funds will be utilized for affordable housing development, land costs, pre-planning costs and other project related costs to projects within one-half mile of transit stations and high frequency bus corridors. This fund will leverage the TOD Fund. The Committee approved filing this bill at its meeting on 8-3-11.
