A bill for an ordinance amending the classification and pay plan for employees in the Career Service and for certain employees not in the Career Service.
(GOVERNMENT & FINANCE) Creates a new Aviation Security Technician class to replace Operations Assistant at Denver International Airport (DIA) that more accurately describes the functions of the position and establishes better education and experience criteria for recruitment and selection. There is no budget impact because incumbents are within the recommended pay range. The Committee approved filing this bill by consent on 9-1-11.
