Approves a no-cost contract extension with Bureau Veritas North America Inc. by one (1) year for hazardous waste remediation services. (HEALTH, SAFETY, EDUCATION, AND SERVICES) Approves a no-cost contract extension with Bureau Veritas North America Inc. by one (1) year for hazardous waste remediation and associated groundwater monitoring services at City-owned leaking underground storage tank (UST) sites as regulated and required by the State’s Division of Oil and Public Safety and provide investigation, remediation, and other environmental services to City departments as requested. The last regularly-scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day period is on 9-??-10. The Committee approved filing this bill by consent on 9-2-10.
