Designates Ruby Hill Park in Council District 7. The Department of Parks and Recreation should, by policy and in accordance with the City Charter, preserve and protect the park system. As part of this responsibility the department should be designating those parks that currently do not carry that status. It is the desire of the department to systematically work at reducing the number of undesignated park spaces.
