A bill for an ordinance referring a question to the ballot at the November 3, 2015 coordinated election concerning the retention and continuation of the special retail marijuana sales tax originally approved by the voters at the November 5, 2013 election.
(FINANCE & SERVICES) Refers a question to the November 2015 ballot to allow the City to retain and spend all 2014 marijuana special sales tax revenues as previously approved by the votersand to continue to impose and collect the tax per the original voter approval. This bill must pass no later than August 31, 2015 to meet the deadlines for the November ballot. The Committee approved filing this bill at its meeting on 5-13-15.
