Type and Scope of services to be performed:
DHS serves many children and youth both in the home and in out-of-home placement. These children may present with various levels of need including medical complications and socio emotional difficulties. Transportation needs of these children to, from, or in conjunction with any activity connecting a child to their school of origin, supervised parenting time, extracurricular activities, placement, and/or therapeutic services, and medical appointments often presents a challenge for our foster homes who often have multiple foster children in their care with competing needs. DHS recognizes these challenges and is seeking to assist with these transportation needs to ensure we meet the needs of all the children/youth involved with DHS.
