A bill for an ordinance approving and providing for the execution of a proposed grant agreement between the City and County of Denver and the United States of America concerning the "FY2010 Byrne Memorial/Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program" and the funding therefor.
(HEALTH, SAFETY, EDUCATION, AND SERVICES) Accepts $585,568 in federal Byrne Memorial/Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Awards for gang suppression, victim services and to support the police helicopter. The last regularly-scheduled meeting within the 30-day period is on 11-1-10. The Committee approved filing this bill by consent on 9-30-10.
