A resolution approving a proposed First Amendment between the City and County of Denver and Clear Channel Outdoor Inc. d/b/a Clear Channel Airports to accelerate the timeframe for Clear Channel to make capital investments into the advertising program during the years 2016 and 2017 that will partially satisfy its Minimum Refurbishment Investment and to incorporate the airport's Guidelines for Signage and Advertising, which shall govern advertising content on the Clear Channel advertising locations at Denver International Airport.
Amends a contract with Clear Channel Outdoor, Inc. by updating the advertising definitions and interpretations to allow for the licensee to make necessary capital investments to signage within the airport sooner than the original midterm refurbish date of 2018. There is no change to the contract amount or term (PLANE201205012-01). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 2-13-17. The Committee approved filing this resolution by consent on 1-11-17.
