A bill for an ordinance amending D.R.M.C. Section 38-51.8 by the addition of a higher maximum value amount to reflect changes made by the state in the Colorado Revised Statutes.
(GOVERNMENT & FINANCE) Increases the maximum dollar amount classified as petty theft from $1,000 to $2,000 reflecting a new state law on misdemeanor theft. The Committee approved filing this bill by consent on 6-20-13.
