State law requires a public hearing be conducted prior to City Council approving a Service Plan for a new metropolitan district with 20 days' notice prior to the hearing. The public hearing for the Loretto Heights Metropolitan Districts is anticipated to be August 26th, 2019. The metropolitan districts' primary purpose will be to finance, construct and maintain public infrastructure supporting commercial and residential mixed-use development of the Loretto Heights site.
