Amends a contract with Denver Health & Hospital Authority to add $350,000 (for a new total of $700,000) and extend the term one year through 12-31-15 to provide housing and treatment services for up to 100 chronically homeless individuals. Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) language will also be added (SOCSV2013-14440-01). This ordinance request is to amend a contract with Denver Health & Hospitals Authority. Under the contract Denver Health & Hospitals Authority will provide housing and treatment services to the homeless and provide transitional residential treatment, case management, and or mental health services up to 100 chronically homeless individuals who have a history of detoxification use in Denver. DHS is requesting to increase the budget and to extend the term for funding year 2015.
