Type and Scope of services to be performed:

 Grant funds will be used to support the Westwood Park nature play area and gardens; a Weir Gulch nature play area and outdoor classroom; a habitat program bringing nature into schoolyards; a mini-mountain bike skills course; a camping/staging area for Genesee Park’s Challenge Course; and programs including gardening programs, afterschool programs, family workshops, expanded nature activities, youth stewardship, outdoor adventures, environmental career exposure, internships, trail installations, and more. Parks & Recreation is partnering with several non-profit and community partners for these places, pathways, and programs, with roughly $1.2 million being passed-through to the partners.
