Executive Summary with Rationale and Impact:
The Alameda Station Metropolitan District ("Metro District") was created in 2009 by a developer who was unsuccessful in purchasing the RTD Bus Barn site. The Metro District has been on statutory inactive status for many years, has no outstanding obligations, and all board positions are vacant.

Currently, RTD has entered into a new purchase agreement with a different development team. It is the same development team working on Broadway Market Place and Denver Design District located near Broadway and Alameda. It has been determined by the development team the Metro District will not be utilized in the redevelopment at the RTD Bus Barn site, yet will be of use at the Denver Design District site.
