A bill for an ordinance approving a proposed Agreement between the City and County of Denver and the Regents of the University of Colorado for community corrections services.
Approves a contract with the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in the amount of $4,904,501 through 6-30-18 for residential and non-residential community corrections services (2017-35282). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 10-23-17. The Committee approved filing this bill by consent on 7-26-17.

Type and Scope of services to be performed: The Division of Community Corrections is requesting a resolution to approve a contract with University of Colorado Health Sciences Center- ARTS Peer I and Haven in the amount of $4,904,501.00 for residential community corrections services provided in FY17-18 which exceed the provisions contained in Section 3.2.6(E) of the Charter.
Funding for this agreement is provided through an allocation from the State of Colorado for the Community Corrections Program FY17-18.
