Approves a contract with Gerald H. Phipps, Inc. for $3,884,740.85 and for ten months to construct a new utility building located in the upper north parking lot of Red Rocks Park to support waste management, janitorial services, parking operations, grounds keeping, and other operations, as well as restrooms for employees and the general public (201734695). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 10-2-17. The Committee approved filing this bill by consent on 8-15-17.

Type and Scope of services to be performed: This project is for the construction of a new utility building located in the upper north parking lot adjacent to Alameda Parkway within Red Rocks Park. The building will house functions for Waste Management, sorting/janitorial storage, parking operations, marketing, Aramark Food and Beverage, grounds keeping and restrooms for employees and the general public. It will be constructed of board formed concrete, cor-ten and stone and includes updates to the façade of the adjacent pump house.
