A resolution approving a proposed Contract between the City and County of Denver and Myers and Sons Construction, LP related to the Platte River and Goldsmith Gulch Rehabilitations project.
Approves a contract with Myers and Sons Construction, LP for $1,588,659.14 and for five months to rehabilitate three bridge structures related to the Goldsmith Gulch and Platte River Rehabilitation projects, including concrete spall and delamination repair, asphalt overlay, and railing work located at the Goldsmith Gulch at South Monaco Parkway and at East Eastman Avenue, and over the South Platte River at Mississippi Avenue in Council Districts 4, 6, and 7 (201735788). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 10-30-17. The Committee approved filing this resolution by consent on 9-19-17.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
Project bid package to include 2 sets of plans for 3 structures to be rehabilitated. Project Schedule "A" is PWT2015-056 and includes 2 structures located on Goldsmith Gulch, 1 at Monaco (D-11-GG-080), and the other at Eastman (D-11-GG-130). This includes routine repairs such as concrete spall and delamination repair, asphalt overlay, and railings. Project Schedule "B" is PWT2015-055 and includes rehabilitation of the Mississippi over Platte River Bridge (D-02-PR-220), curb ramp restoration, substructure repairs, and adjustment of a traffic signal pull box.
