A resolution approving a proposed Eighth Amendatory Agreement by and between the City and County of Denver and CenturyLink Communications, LLC f/k/a Qwest Communications Company, LLC to increase maximum contract amount and extend the term to cover maintenance and technical support to the City’s 911 phone switches and supporting systems.
Adds $500,000 and one year to a contract with CenturyLink, LLC for a new total of $3,471,588.50 through 12-31-18 for maintenance and repair of Denver 911 telephony systems at 303 West Colfax Avenue and 950 Josephine Street in Council Districts 9 and 10 (TECHS - CE76017). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 1-2-18. The Committee approved filing this resolution by consent on 11-21-17.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
Maintenance and repair of Denver 911 telephony systems at 950 Josephine and 303 W Colfax. The scope of work includes both the Nortel/Avaya PBX and the Vesta Meridian CTI at the main center located at 950 Josephine and the backup 911 center located at 303 W Colfax. Customer and End User agree and understand that software support provided by Century Link LLC for those products designated as “End of Support” is limited in scope. All software support provided in such instances will be at Century Link LLC’ discretion and on an as-is basis, without warranty. Customer and End User acknowledge that no upgrades or updates will be provided for such products and Airbus DS Communications will endeavor best efforts to assist with any software support.
