Type and Scope of services to be performed:

 

 This 4th contract amendment provides for continuation to a sole-source contract through 2020 for an on-call acoustic consulting services necessary to analyze the effects of DEN aircraft noise on surrounding communities. These services may include, among others, analysis of the acoustic effects of various changes to air traffic control procedures and associated airspace modification, prediction and analysis of the effects of air traffic upon Denver/Adams County IGA noise limit compliance and analysis of the general effect of aircraft noise in communities surrounding DEN.

HMMH possesses a deep and unique knowledge of the complex and unusual nature of the Denver/Adams County IGA Noise Exposure Performance Standards (NEPS) noise compliance requirements. DEN has made a substantial investment in software tools and methodologies that HMMH has developed for the analysis and prediction of DEN NEPS impacts. HMMH principals also sometimes serve as expert witnesses in DEN’s defense in noise-related litigation.
