A bill for an ordinance amending the Building and Fire Code of the City and County of Denver.
Amends Chapter 10, Article II of the Denver Revised Municipal Code (DRMC) to clarify provisions around temporary structures and uses, modify requirements for apprentice to master electricians, require an operational permit for green roofs, and clarify application of the International Fire Code to structures built under the International Residential Code. The Committee approved filing this bill at its meeting on 4-17-18.

This amendment contains two changes to Chapter 1 of the Denver Building Code, and two amendments to Chapter 1 of the Denver Fire Code. These changes are needed to clarify provisions around temporary structures and uses, modify requirements for apprentice to master electricians, require an operational permit from DFD for green roofs, and clarify application of the International Fire Code to structures built under the International Residential Code.
