A resolution approving a proposed Fourth Amendatory Agreement by and between the City and County of Denver and CenturyLink Communications, LLC to increase the maximum contract amount to provide leased line, data, and telephone services for all City agencies.
Adds $2 million to a contract with CenturyLink, LLC for a new total of $22 million for additional telephone services to reduce City cost and increase the resiliency of the City’s telephone systems (TECHS-CE90535-04). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 6-4-18. The Committee approved filing this resolution by consent on 4-24-18.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
This is an agreement with CenturyLink, LLC. to provide leased line, data, and telephone services to the City and County of Denver. This includes phone numbers, phone service, and different classes of communication lines that are used to connect City sites. Denver Health, DIA, Denver Human Services, Denver Convention Center, and Waste Water can all opt to purchase services from this contract (this will require a separate agreement from each one of these agencies and CenturyLink). This amendment will allow for the addition of new services. This amendment will also increase the total contract maximum by $2,000,000 to continue to pay for services throughout the life of the contract.
