CDOT has provided $100,000 to DDPHE via an IGA for the Denver GES Healthy Foods Challenge to facilitate access to fresh food in the Globeville and Elyria-Swansea Neighborhoods. This contract/IGA is a revenue contract (not a grant), and the Public Health and Wellness SRF (accounting number 14806-6501000) from which the funds will be administered is an appropriated special revenue fund; thus an ordinance is required to approve the increase in appropriation.
